An ever-increasing number of consumers and companies greatly value environmental compatibility. Although conventional powder coatings are already considered ecological, thanks to their zero emissions, however they are not exactly so, as they are made by more than 50% of resins obtained from oil and natural gas from underground fields. It is precisely for this reason that we aim to constantly select products and production options useful for reducing the negative impact on the environment.
Our time requires innovative solutions to guarantee the livability of our planet and preserve it for future generations. The objective must be to minimize harmful emissions to the environment without compromising the quality, competitiveness and standards of the finished product. We therefore ask ourselves: can we optimize our production processes and reduce our ecological footprint, maintaining or improving quality and reducing our carbon footprint at the same time?
ST Powder Coatings' R&D laboratory has always focused on technical innovations that are not only beautiful to look at, but which benefit people and the environment, offering an added value.
Our efforts led to the creation of a first series of powder coatings with raw materials with components deriving from renewable sources already in 2012: at the time it was an absolute novelty. Based on the experience gained, we are now able to present the new GREEN OASIS powder coatings series.
